Cheerful, good quality, value and design, 24 Sep 2011

I bought this for my daughter who is going to university this year. She loves it. She has a new 13" Macbook Pro and this fits well. I prefer this design because you just unzip the sleeve, open and use your laptop without needing to take your computer out. I think this is a better design. It comes with a thick foam. The sleeve is a bit wider than the computer and I can see why some reviews pointed out this. My daughter inserts the foam between her computer and the sleeve and this seems to solve the problem of the gap between the computer and the zip. It fits perfectly now. This also provides additional protection to the computer as she tends to put books or stuff on top. The colour and picture is very bright and cheerful. If you get tired and stuck, close your computer and enjoy the cheerful kitty. This will surely brighten up your day!

Not a good purchase, 10 Feb 2012

I would definitely not recommend this suitcase or this supplier. With regard to the case, I bought it in August and, with limited use, it was broken by December - one of the four wheels broke while I was in the middle of negotiating Heathrow and the centre of London after my flight to Scotland was cancelled. So I had to carry it between the Heathrow Express and the tube and between the tube and Euston mainline station - not so far really but far enough at the end of a hectic few days working in London. With regard to the supplier, I bought another smaller case at the same time. Without any advance warning, the P&P when I clicked purchase went from £4.55 to £14.99 because I live on one of the islands in the Outer Hebrides. They charged the £14.99 on both cases and then put the smaller one inside the bigger one and pocketed the excess payment themselves. I got in touch and asked for an explanation and got one of those 'nothing to do with us' responses and no apology. If I could have offered zero stars, I would have done! I should say that I am not Mr Angry - I rarely post negative reviews and decided not to bother about the postage. I am fed up trying to pack 20kgs worth of clothes/items into
a small suitcase which barely closes. Thus this purchase!
I shall still have to restrict the weight but I shall not be
worried that the case will burst open or that I don't have
room for the pair of shoes purchase I just couldn't resist! I really
prefer the 4-spinner wheels too - much easier on the arms than
my other 2-wheel suitcases!

I bought this bag a year ago and I must say "I Love It". Everyone comments on it and in March, this year, a lady at security in Gatwick airport called me over to search my bag and while she did this she admitted that she just wanted a closer look at the bag!!!
A great size for hand luggage when travelling.!!
I have now bought the make-up bag as well!

This bag is very cute. I had it as a wedding present to go on honeymoon.

It is made of very soft 'leatherette' (without a grain) and is lined in pale blue cotton. The design goes round the front and back. The little pocket on the outside has a magnetic closure and perfect size for passport/oyster card etc it has a similar sized zip pocket inside and a phone pocket too (big enough for 2 regular size phones). It's a deceptively big bag, but definitely not bulky to carry, even full, and not too heavy either.

The bag zips with a double ended zip that goes round the top of the bag, and down the side - see the brown pits at the top of the picture(think carpet bag style), so makes it very safe to travel with.

The bag itself is really quite sturdy and a great size for a small weekend bag, shopping or perfect for hand luggage on plane journeys.

The only reason this does not get a 5 is because of the quality of the little accessories on it. The tags on mine are not embossed very well (can't read them), the aeroplane charm had snapped before opening. It did not have a little bow on either. Not a big deal as the bag is nice, but for [...]...

All in all definitely recommended for a lady wanting to travel in style!

I wanted a hold all bag to just throw stuff in quickly. It does the job, but I found that it's far too big; I should have gone for the smaller size. Actually I don't see how such a big bag would be useful. If you fill it up, it's too heavy. And even if you don't fill it up it takes up a lt of space because the base, where the wheels and the handle are, is rigid.

I was looking for a strong, big and light bag. Undeniably, it is excellent quality but far too big. The problem is that I can only put 20kg in it (on low cost flights) so I can never fill it up enough to avoid for all my stuff to go all over the place during transit.
It is also worth mentioning that the picture on the site does not feature the actual bag I received (it is the smaller one!) so I feel that was a bit misleading.

I received the Eastpak Unisex Container 85 Luggage within 2 days of ordering, very quick fast & efficient.
The actual bag is quality, when you open it there's a zip that runs right across the bottom so you can store flat items or thinner items in-between the supporting bars.
A large roomy pocket on the side.
The supports are metal.
The handle & release trigger is strong & has a comfortable grip.
The wheels roll comfortably & easily when bag is full and the textile grip handles are comfortable too.
A strong velcro fastening that is big enough to fit around both handles.
A bag that is quality, strong with lots of space included.

No hesitation in recommending this product.....

The product was just what I wanted ...ultralight bag big enough for laptop + few clothes.

BUT the trolly part partly fell off within an hour of use! The rivets just came apart. I fixed it with a couple of bolts but not really satisfactory.

(It was so cheap that it was not worth the postage and bother of returning it)
